Providing the best treatment for each patient
Recently, treatment of cancer patient is rapidly shifting to “precision medicine,” which prevents, diagnoses, or treats cancer according to individual patients’ genetic factors. The Medical Oncology Center at Seoul National University Cancer Hospital is leading the paradigm of cancer treatment through precision medicine by using this genome based approach.
Minimizing waiting time through one-day all system
With the outpatient office at the Medical Oncology Center, the anti-cancer day admission ward, and the short-term injection beds at the cancer hospital working together efficiently, our center strives to minimize the waiting time of patients for patients to receive treatment without delay (one-day all system).
World leading center in clinical trials
We are leading the development of new anticancer drugs and targeted therapies by conducting multinational clinical trials. We are involved in the development of anticancer drugs in Korea and overseas continuously publishing research in international academic journals and conferences.

We are not only achieving scientific research results on anticancer drugs, but are also developing evidence-based guidelines. We also strive to provide the most effective and comfortable treatment methods for patients by combining primary chemotherapy and the best possible adjuvant therapies.

We are leading the translational research in oncology. We aim to translate basic research outcomes into results that directly benefit humans.
