SNUH Held a webinar on ‘The COVID-19 Pandemic – Mitigation Strategies and Hospital Management: Sharing Korea’s Experience’
Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) held a web seminar on April 22nd from 7p.m. to 9p.m. for medical staff and health officials from around the world, including the ASEAN region, to share their experiences in the COVID-19 infection management system and treatment at SNUH.
The facilitator of this web seminar was Kyung woo Park, the chief of Innovation and Quality office at SNUH. Professor Jin Kyun Park of International Healthcare Center, Professor Jae Hyeon Park of Laboratory Medicine, Professor Eun Hwa Choi of pediatrics, professor Pyoeng Gyun Choe of infectious diseases, presented the infection control and diagnostic methods for COVID-19 and clinical experiences in treating pediatric and adult patients.
In this web seminar, more than 800 medical staff from 45 countries watched and have interest in Korean medical care. In particular, they paid attention to how SNUH manages hospital infections as well as clinical experiences of pediatric patients with few cases.
This webinar was hosted by SNUH and the Korea International Medical Association (KIMA). The excellence of Korean Medicine and the successful management system were confirmed by the medical staff around the world.
