SNUH received the 'Most Innovative Healthcare Companies of 2018’
Seoul National University Hospital recently received the 'Most Innovative Healthcare Companies of 2018’ from "Healthcare Innovation Conference" hosted by the International Medical Tourism Association (MTA) in Orlando, U.S. 'Most Innovative Healthcare Companies of 2018’ is awarded to the medical institution that leads the development of advanced health care sectors and has innovative technologies.
Seoul National University Hospital has been recognized for its excellence in the world's first in reaching 200 cases of pure laparoscopic living donor liver resection surgery.
This operation is a surgical method considering the donor's postoperative recovery and patient satisfaction is high. However, because of the high level of skill required, many hospitals are still performing open surgery.
This achievement was introduced to the famous journals, and medical professionals from France, Germany, Japan, China, Australia, and many other countries are visiting for Seoul National University Hospital to learn this technique.
