IHC hosts "Eid al Fitr" celebration event for Muslim patients

Patients from Islamic country gather at the International Healthcare Center to celebrate “Eid al Fitr”, the holiday ends Ramadan, Islam’s holy month of fasting. Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) held the event on Monday for overseas Muslim patients who are currently residing in Korea to treat their illnesses. 


The event is part of diverse cultural experiences organized by the International Healthcare Center (IHC) that foreign patients who visited the hospital to celebrate “Eid al Fitr” that marks the end of Ramadan and its month of fasting. In their own country, they share sweets and food with their families, neighbors to celebrate. To respect their culture, IHC shares halal food and share the gifts with the patients.  


“It was so grateful to celebrate our holiday in Korea. Thanks to IHC staff for kindness and hospitality,” said one of the patients from UAE. “
