Background

Professor Choi graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1980, completed his resident training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SNUH. He has been working for SNUH as a professor since 1989. He has done research on endometriosis in Brigham & Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School as a visiting scholar. He has accomplished brilliant research achievements and clinical expertise in infertility disorders, especially on endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. He has served as the President of the Korean Society for Reproductive Medicine (2012-2014), and as the president of the Korean Society for Assisted Reproduction (2013-2015), and is currently serving as the director of the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Population, Seoul National University College of Medicine.
