To contribute to the reduction of preventable trauma deaths, the Critical Trauma Center has improved the 119 emergency transport system and operates a specialized trauma team 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide emergency treatment and surgery for severe trauma patients within a reasonable time.
Since 2020, we have been participating in the Seoul Severe Trauma Definitive Care Center project, where specialists in trauma surgery, emergency medicine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiology, thoracic surgery, radiology, and anesthesiology and pain medicine work closely together to provide specialized care and definitive treatment such as emergency surgery, angiographic embolization, and intensive care within a golden time frame for severe trauma patients.
We are also committed to improving the quality of life of trauma patients by connecting with the National Traffic Rehabilitation Hospital and activating rehabilitation treatment for trauma patients, and to stable quality management of the severe trauma system through cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the National Emergency Medical Center, and the Seoul Fire and Disaster Management Center.
