The Department of Pediatric Radiology at Seoul National University Children's Hospital diagnoses diseases through various advanced imaging techniques such as X-ray examination, fluoroscopy, ultrasound examination, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and angiography. Moreover, various imaging-based interventional procedures such as tissue biopsy, drainage, central venous catheter, esophageal balloon dilatation, and medical consultations are provided.
Various imaging tests are operated in consideration of the characteristics of children and adolescents. In particular, for X-rays, fluoroscopy, CT scans, and angiography using radiation, we provide the highest level of safe radiology treatment by obtaining accurate images while using only a minimal dose of radiation. In addition, we oversee supporting image information such as processing, storage, and transmission of various images based on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
The Department of Pediatric Radiology at Seoul National University Children's Hospital is dedicated to treatment with the warmth of sharing hearts with patients with 6 faculty members for each field of pediatric radiology, fellows, residents, health staff, nursing staff, and office assistants who are experts in pediatric radiology.
