Accurate Diagnosis and Treatment through Organized Integrative Care with Other Departments

The Gynecological Cancer Center provides accurate diagnosis and the best treatment to patients through multidisciplinary gynecological cancer conferences, including the Department of Radiology, Pathology, Radiation Oncology, Urology, Surgery, and Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.

An Optimal Personalized Treatment and Research-Oriented Global Hospital

For early gynecological cancer, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, and single-port laparoscopic surgery are being actively performed. In addition, for advanced and recurrent gynecological cancer, extensive surgical resection such as anterior peritoneal resection and laterally extended endopelvic resection, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy are performed specifically for the patient according to the patient’s condition. Recently, interest has grown and research on targeted therapy and immunotherapy for gynecological cancer is being actively conducted worldwide. The Gynecological Cancer Center also provides opportunities to participate in international multicenter clinical trials of these various new drugs, in which we play a leading role.

Optimal Treatment to Improve Quality of Life

Recently, as interest in quality of life has increased, various efforts are being made to preserve the quality of life in gynecological cancer surgery as well. The Gynecological Cancer Center actively performs fertility preservation surgery and autonomic nerve preservation surgery for early diagnosed gynecological cancer patients. In particular, neuro-conserving surgery is closely related to quality of life as it is directly related to the patient’s urination and bowel function, and the clinical results of neuro-conserving surgery have been reported in the world’s leading journals.
