The globalization of healthcare is an inevitable trend in contemporary society, and the Korean medical community is at the forefront of this change. Accordingly, I have made it a core value of my clinical philosophy to enhance my international medical competencies to provide the highest level of care to patients from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. By deeply understanding the experiences and characteristics of multicultural patients, my goal is to carefully consider health disparities across regions and ethnicities, overcome language and cultural barriers, prevent medical mishaps, and improve access to healthcare. To achieve this, I plan to participate in various medical education and training programs, utilize reliable interpretation services, and engage in activities to enhance my cultural sensitivity, specifically focusing on improving cross-cultural communication skills and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds. Cardiovascular diseases present with a variety of symptoms, such as chest pain, palpitations, and dizziness. Conducting appropriate tests and treatments for each symptom to achieve an accurate diagnosis and provide tailored care is crucial in reducing the risk of complications. Even in the absence of symptoms, conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes—often detected through routine checkups—require early management to prevent disease progression. To this end, I utilize the latest medical research and technology, adopting a patient-centered approach to deliver personalized care to patients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds while offering clear guidance on treatment options.
