"Pediatrics is concerned with the health of infants, children, and adolescents; their growth and development; and their opportunity to achieve full potential as adults."

The Department of Pediatrics includes 27 faculty members each covering one of the following 11 specialties: pediatric immunology, neonatology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology & metabolism, pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, pediatric hemato-oncology, pediatric infectious diseases, pediatric nephrology, pediatric neurology, pediatric allergy & pulmonology, and pediatric critical care medicine. We are proud to say that each member of the faculty is actively engaged in either or both of the clinical and basic researches in the field of Pediatrics and is leading pediatric research in Korea.
