The Hospital Medicine Center of the Department of Pediatrics is made up of professors (Hospital Medicine specialists) in charge of inpatients in the department. We provide patient-centered integrated treatment for patients with complex and chronic diseases as well as acute diseases. In addition, we guarantee patient safety and improve the quality of medical care by residing specialists in the ward to provide necessary services such as examination at the beginning of hospitalization, follow-up observations, simple treatments or procedures, management before and after surgery, and establishment of a discharge plan.
