Seoul National University Children's Hospital(SNUCH) was dedicated on October 16, 1985, as the first centrally located health service center for children in Asia. Taking the initiative in the field of children's health is the primary mission of the Pediatrics Department, its 14 Specialty Divisions, and 5 Central units.
There are 263 beds, a children's playroom, and a learning room decorated to provide a comfortable healing environment for children and their families.
Cooperatively working towards education, research and health services are more than 600 employees that include 100 physicians and 250 paramedical personnel. These staffs work in the numerous facilities available at SNUCH.. the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Echocardiography Unit, Cardiac Catheterization and Angiography Unit, Endoscopy Unit, EEG Unit, Dialysis Unit, EMG Unit, Electron Microscopy Unit, and a Pulmonary Function Test Laboratory. | |
