The Department of Pediatric Plastic Surgery located in the SNUH Children's Hospital, is unique in Korea for treating patients asthethically & functionally under the age of 15 years for the various congenital anomalies and Traumatic deformities. These patients' difficulties and disfigurements are treated using the most modern techniques available. We specialize in treating congenital anomalies of the face, Cleft lip (Harelip), Cleft Palate (condition in which the roof of the mouth has a hole in it), Hemifacial Microsomia, Syndactyly, and Polydactyly (six fingers). Working together with other specialties in the Children's Hospital, we provide the best healing environment for our young patients. This includes psychological supports for social stresses and post treatment periods.
