The Department of Internal Medicine has eight specialized divisions, while the Children' s Hospital has 14 departments in its respective pediatric divisions. Each outpatient clinic is divided into morning and afternoon sessions.

The morning session is a specialty-oriented clinic where an appropriate specialist takes care of patients according to their needs. The afternoon session is oriented toward treating specific diseases.

There are 1,300 inpatient beds. Most inpatients are referred from primary and secondary medical facilities. Every patient is cared for by a team, which discusses each case during ward rounds and in conferences.
