The main task of our Surgical Pathology Department is to researches the etiology and pathogenesis of human diseases. On the basis of these research findings, we provide medical services with final diagnosis of the patient's disease through autopsy and biopsy specimens. We also support the education of medical students in the pathology field.

Autopsy, surgical pathology, cytology, pediatric pathology, immunology, and molecular pathology are covered in our Department. We also participate in over 30 intradepartmental and extradepartmental conferences.
