The Emergency Department at Seoul National University Hospital is a 38-bed department staffed by two full-time assistant professors, two fellows who are board certified in Emergency Medicine, eleven residents, and nursing staff with specialized Emergency training. We also have a separate pediatric emergency room at the Children's Hospital. While caring for the patients, we are also striving for excellence in the education of medical students, and in the field of medical research. As part of the National Plan for an Emergency Medical Network, our Department at Seoul National University Hospital serves a leading role as a Regional Emergency Center for the Metropolitan Area and has the 1339 Emergency Information Center.
